Bratton Baptist church Is situated in a Village of approx 500 houses on the edge of Salisbury Plain in West Wiltshire. Originally a farming community, the village is now more generalised with many residents commuting to work in the surrounding areas of Bath, Bristol and Swindon. The Church was formed in 1662 and the building is approx 300 years old. It was refurbished in 1990 and brought up to modern standards. The morning service caters for people of all ages and embraces both traditional and contemporary music. Children and young people up to about the age of 15 go to their classes halfway through the service. Once a month we hold a family service. We also have a monthly social event to include children from the local school. The evening service is more varied and includes open worship, corporate prayer and participation from the worship group. Communion is held twice a month; once in the evening and once before the morning service. At least four times a year we set aside a Sunday evening with a Missionary focus.
