Prayer Diary
WEBA produces a quarterly prayer diary, Baptists Together in Prayer, which is available in weekly instalments on this page and is also sent out to a mailing list as a paper booklet or word document. The diary makes it easy for both churches and individuals to keep praying for all the churches in our association. Re:source Bristol Mike Pears
Re:Source, in partnership with Bristol Baptist College and Urban Expression is focusing on urban mission and church planting. We are grateful for the Anglican-Baptist partnership on the Knowle West Estate – for the joint congregation and the newly formed incarnational community of households across the estate. Pray for the continued formation of the partnership and for a number of new people who are moving into the estate to join us. Pray for the estate itself as the whole community faces enormous challenges – and that the church will be an effective minister of kingdom hope.
Bristol Baptist College has introduced a newly shaped course starting this September which will focus on developing missional ministry in urban areas. The commitment from students is to live incarnationally for six years with the opportunity to work to earn income for two days a week. We are excited to have three students starting this year: Andy, Geoff and Phil. Do pray for these three and their families as they move into a new adventure. Two will be based in East Bristol and one on the Knowle West estate.

With churches in Trowbridge closing, or amalgamating, we thank God for His faithfulness to us, as a congregation, that we have a small, friendly and committed membership, Although, consisting mostly of elderly members we endeavour to be a Godly presence in our community. We have two Street Pastors in our membership and we value the work that the Street Pastors do in Trowbridge on a Friday evening.
Pray for us as we seek to find ways to increase our work within our area. Pray also for all the ministries of the church.
